HMS Belfast snapshot
HMS Belfast served throughout the Second World War, playing a leading part in the destruction of the battle cruiser Scharnhorst, and also the Normandy Landings. In service with the Royal Navy until 1965, she was saved for the nation in 1971 as a unique reminder of Britain’s naval heritage.

Important Notice - HMS Belfast


                                             Wednesday 31 December 2008

Due to filming taking place onboard HMS Belfast on New Year's Eve, the ship will be closed to the public from 15.30pm. Last entry to the ship will be at 14.30pm.

The ship will re-open to the public on 1 January 2009 at 10.00am as usual.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
