(and golf widows) The Manor House and Ashbury Hotels at Okehampton has 5 golf courses of various standards, bowls, racket sports, pottery, glass engraving, candle making, painting and sketching, silk painting, swimming pools and many other activities. The hotels are on the edge of Dartmoor and guided walks and pony trekking are available. If none of this appeals there is a spa bath, hydrotherapy pools (real ones not just the bars!)
